School-Parent Compact for Success
This compact is an agreement that families, students, and teachers develop together. It explains how families and teachers work as a team to make sure all students reach or exceed grade-level standards.
Goals for Student Achievement
JWW Goals
- Improve reading fluency for students in grades K–3
- Improve TCAP performance in grades 2–5 by increasing ELA and Math proficiency scores
Communication is Key
JWW is dedicated to maintaining continuous communication with families. You can expect updates through:
- Remind app
- Weekly or daily folders
- Phone calls and emails
- Family engagement events
- Parent–teacher conferences
- Other school communications

This school compact was collaboratively developed by JWW parents, leadership, staff, and community members. We welcome feedback throughout the school year.
Teachers, Families, Students - Together for Success
As a School, JWW will:
- Provide an inviting, safe learning environment
- Monitor student progress and adjust instructional practices
- Provide interventions based on individual needs
As Families, we will:
- Help our children be on time and attend school regularly
- Read together 20 minutes daily and discuss what we read
- Communicate frequently with teachers and administration
- Attend school events
As a Student, we will:
- Work hard
- Show integrity
- Be safe
- Have empathy
- Attend school
- Be on time daily
- Read 20 minutes each day
