J. W. Wiseman Elementary School is a member of the Sumner County Board of Education and is accredited by the Southern Association of Colleges and Schools. Here your children can grow from Kindergarten until they are ready for middle school. Our objective is to teach concentrated academic skills while helping students develop responsible behavior and effective decision making skills.

As a parent, you are a member of the team required to make your child's school experience a success. Parents are invited to help as school volunteers, join the PTO, accompany classes on field trips, serve as room parents, or to assist with events at J. W. Wiseman Elementary School. Your help at home by creating a quiet place to work, listening to your child read, reading to them, and providing the stable home life your child needs, go a long way toward ensuring success at school.
